Yes i did manually. If i try to use the reboot or respring in iSpirit, it requests for Openssh so i did it manually

Look at the methods here, i have no problem achieving the method 3 partly and i have already installed an SSH App (SSH TERMINAL) in my idevice but dont know how to apply it for my use as described in method 2, step 3

The problem you have is you do not have OpenSSH installed(installed from Cydia only)....or iFile(Cydia version only) anything installed from AppStore will not give you Root access.

Saw this on a similar problem....was advised to reinstall Cydia via Absinthe, but getting "already jailbroken" message...

At first, it didn't work for me too. What I did was:

1. Remove passcode!
2. Deleted Absinthe icon from iPhone screen
3. Unplugged phone from Windows PC
4. Launched Absinthe in PC
5. Plugged in iPhone
6. Did the jailbreak steps again

Then it worked. Phone booted on its own & Cydia app was there already.

Thx bro, from my last post, i actually have access to the root directory through other programs but need to have the ssh black screen so i can install the .deb file(s) You will see that the guy too does not have Cydia and Openssh installed and yet after putting the .deb was told to use SSH terminal to install the .deb file. I already have the ssh terminal installed now but what is the process of connecting to the iphone by it.
AS regards the above steps, once the phone is jb, the Absinthe icon disappears, so if he still had it on his phone, maybe it was not fully consummated initially, tried it though, no dice!

The guy in the vid does have OpenSSH installed as he's using WinSCP program, and he's lucky because he also got iFile installed...Not sure what else to try....will keep looking....A NEW jailbreak for 5.1 will hopefully be coming soon....reading tweets from Pod2g...it's looking good.

Hey Sogaro the NEW RedSnow(0.9.10b7) jailbreak for 5.0.1 may be your answer....it now able to jailbreak iPhone4s and iPad2....

Now i try to use the latest Redsnow but its failing in turning on the VPN, it asked for password which i dont know, i ignored it and went ahead but it complains about VPN configuration later, any help?

Checking online for help on this now!!!
