Unlock to other networks

Is there any software available that will allow me to open my if4 to other mobile networks. Thing is I'm on orange and my contract ends soon and there's no way I'm stopping with them.

I managed to get a pay as you go micro sim but heard from a friend you need to unlock and a local phone shop wants ?50.

Chances are they will be looking for 20 notes for an unlock ... but it is the only reliable way to unlock an iphone.

Anything else like a "software" unlock will relock as soon as there is an ios update.

Ok it's ?20 but if you sign up to giffgaff you will get your ?20 back very quickly. They have a referral scheme whereby you earn ?5 everytime someone signs up using your name / link. They also pay you to take an active part in their online forum.

Ok giffgaff is not everybody's cup of tea. There is no customer service helpline as such, most problems are sorted out of the forum or via email to "The Agents".

Been on it over a year now ... earned quite a lot (we are talking hundreds by the way) from them in the year and have run my iphone for ?10 a month. 250 mins, u/l txt, u/l internet (within reason ... no tethering !)

Hi just a quick question, Someone that has moved here from Aus has asked me to jailbreak his iphone, Could be 4 could be 4s will this unlock it so he can use a uk sim card?
