    activation challenge

    Hey,

I have an iphone 3gs I bought second hand on a filipino market. I was running 5.1.1 but stupidly upgraded to 6.1.2 and now it is bricked, Ie I can't get it activated so can't even use it as an IPOD. Problem is I am no longer in philippines so I can't input a valid sim in order to get it 'activated' by Itunes... I've tried:

    1) to downgrade to 5.1.1 using redsn0w without any luck.

    2) taken the phone to an official repair shop who couldn't do anything without a valid sim

So from everybody's posts, it seems like my only chance might be to change my imei number? not exactly sure where to start with this... really can't afford a new model phone so any help would be greatly appreciated... Canker_Canison, any ideas!?

happy for people to contact me privately about this, not sure if it is permitted on this site...

    Thanks so much in advance,
    Toby

Of course, each iphone has it s name and a unique serial number. sowhat belongs to one will never be mixed with the other

Let s just say the PC remembers each phone individually. it songs, contacts etc. Evetyhing that is on 1 iphone will pass to Itunes. and everyhting on Itunes will pass to iphone.

yes you can but it will sync all the photos, better to do a sparate folder with the photos you want to pass to her, and when you synch her iphone choose sync photos and select that folder
