    iPhone 4 in the loop

    Hello peeps
    Got my iphone4 running iOS 5.0.1 jb using evasion
    It's started playing up and entering safe mode for no apparent reason,haven't put anything on it for ages
    Anyway last night it goes into standbys again but this time upon re booting it gets stuck in a loop with the apple logo and then a spinning symbol and then it hangs
    I'm assuming its dfu
    I've tried a reset etc but no joy'its recognised in iTunes as in restore mode and wants me to update to latest iOS which I don't want to do for obvious reasons
    Whatever are my options ???

      Hold down power and home button until you see the apple logo blink out and reappear......release all buttons IMMEDIATELY hold down the UP volume button until you enter "SAFE MODE"

      Now enter Cydia and delete the most recent installed tweaks.....

          Been sweating for two days and finally after reading you reply I've got the phone working again
          Trouble is I still got cydia etc installed but I can't swipe for sb settings to reboot and get out of safe mode
          Sb settings is installed
          Any idea what I do next ?

              Just need to re Boot..... Hold power***10010;home button until you see the Apple logo(then release)

                  I'm confused slightly as I thought I was in safe mode because of the grey background
                  My theme etc has dissapeared but it does not say safe mode in the status bar
                  Cydia is still installed and so are my apps and they all work fine but no tweaks, I can't access sb settings and I can't do anything through winter board
                  Anyone got any idea what's wrong and how to rectify it pls ???

                      Trust me YOU ARE IN "SAFE MODE"
                      The ONLY way to get out of this particular Safe Mode is to re Boot!!!!!

                      Hold power and home buttons until you see Apple logo....then release....

                      If phone goes into a loop again.....then re Enter Safe Mode and remove the offending Cydia/tweaks you installed(which is causing the problems)
