3.1.3 with base band 05.12.01 , done it !!

hi

first jail brake with redsn0w 0.9.4 and load cydia ....

then once you have cydia , look for fuzzyband and add , then run it , it will down grade your base band , then unlock with what ever one you prefere ...

mine is all good now ....

Hi Kingy... got an iPhone 3gs on 3.1.3 and latest baseband.... only want to jailbreak it not bothered about unlocking.... will redsnow JB it?

I have iphone 3gs its never been jail broke & it was on 3.1.2 then i accidently updated it to 3.1.3 05.12 is it still possible for me to jailbreak my phone or downgrade bk to 3.1.2.

After reading many posts and threads on several iphone forums I would say "NO" m8 you can't.

If you only have had your bootloader signed (or something) on Cydia then if you accidently upgrade to 3.1.3 you can downgrade back to 3.1.2.

There are a few rumours going about people have cracked but it has not come from the devteam or geohot.

I would wait for the geohot or the devteam to release their version of unlock on the 3.1.3 baseband before even thinking about trying with anything else.

im in same boat, bloody auto updated without knowing (note to self never tick tab dont show this box again)

there is no way of unlocking iphone 3gs on new baseband u have to wait till the scientist find a cure ..why do they have to make our lifes so difficult
