iphoto picture to email

Hi,

all you techno people, more capable than me, how do I downsize a photo stored on iphoto to send as attachment in email.
I get it across as an attachment easy enough but it is a huge 4.5mb hence it won't send.
Any help would be appreciated. Lynbo

There are many ways. iOS already gives 3 sizes when you want to send a photo taken by your phone (actual, medium and small). The easiest one is to open the photo in Preview application (that comes with your Mac) and then export it. In the dialog reduce the quality. You can also crop the photo to get rid of unwanted part and make the photo of the same quality smaller.
