I'm new here and am not sure whether there's a way out of this (apart from buying a new card).
I have a R4i v1.4 card which worked fine so far (we had firmware v1.4), but somehow our DSiXL got updated to the latest FW 1.4.4.
I have copied the frmware V1.11d from R4 R4i SDHC Revolution for NDSi/NDSL/NDS R4i Cards R4 Cards on it.
Now the card is recognised (I can see the icon and click on it) but I get the following error message "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details".
If I get my hands on a previous version, could I make this work, or do I need do get a newer R4 (or equivalent), compatible with 1.4.4?
