Device not seeing R4i Gold 3DS card

Hi I can some one please help me I have just bought my son an R4i Gold 3DS card and it arrived today I've spent all day trying to get his ( Nintendo 3DS Ver.5.1.0-11E, Nintendo DSi Ver.1.2E and Nintendo DS Lite Ver not shour 5 "I think" ) I've tried all of these to see the new card but they all say no card installed. I've loaded the Micro SD card with the new firmware and I've put the old firmware on and run his TTds card so I know it's not the Micro SD Card and I don't think it's the software I've tried the paper trick behind the circuit board, I just can not get the R4i card it's self to be seen by any one of the device's.

What you mean? Your console can not read out the files in the TF with r4i gold 3ds?
If the console can not read the game when it starts, you may be need a new r4 card.
