I have an older wii, which I hacked using the twilight trick about 1-2 years ago. I since bought a PS3 and started to ignore my wii. The problem is that now I want to go back to my wii and it seems that my system is a bit outdated to play todays backups. I've downloaded the FF:CC crystal bearers ISO (justified because I also bought it in stores and I collect RPGs and prefer to keep them sealed) and my wii doesn't seem to read it.
I have homebrew channel installed 1.0.3 (it tells me that 1.0.6 is available, but when I try to upgrade it tells me that I'm unable to, and that if I already have the updated version, that I should suck it. Unfortunately, I have been lost with the lingo ever since I did the downgrade/hack, and I'm unable to follow the newer tutorials.
I'm not entirely sure what Bootmii is, which cIOS i have (apparently we're at rev10 now?) or what USB loader is.
Can anyone please help me get back up-to-date with the newest in Wii hacking?
