im hoping someone can help me out here, i have recently done some recordings on my cam and whilst the files are there and showing as MP4 videoa, all of them are failing to work ( they throw errors along the lines of being incompatable or simlar with my player software,) i have tried many different players now with same results, after searching around i found references to peeps having problems with corrupt headers when opened with hex editors and i suspect this maybe the problem i have, so can anyone point me in right direction of some software that can detect and repair MP4 files ( that actually works) or maybe someone on here can help me out by telling me what i need to look for and change in the file headers?? or even have a go at the repair themselves, i really dont want to lose this footage as its the type of thing you cant go and repeat so its a one time only change to get the footage but im peeved that this has happened
