Hello,
I have a dell D610 that i use for work.
I use it on the road so i have 3 batteries.
I the time of one week all batteries begon blinking error
with the message (end of life, bla bla bla)
All 3 in a week???? smells like programmed to me...
so i take one full charged battery open. bypassed the electronics in it and run a test on it. just + and - to a test setup. Original they are 53Wh i come to 48Wh,
i recarhged it again and did the same test again 48Wh
so that is a loss of 11-12% no where near end of life.
All cells are in 3% from eachother in amp and voltage.
My idea iwas that dell keeps track of some sort of charging cycle counter. and after a sertain nr they give you a blinking led and a message to buy a new battery.
i found that in old biosses you where able to reset the counter manualy.
But in the A06 bios i have, this is not an option.
Anyone know a tool so i can set back the battery cycle counter to 0 or an other value?
