    Sandy bridge recall

I had just ordered my Asus GSW-A1 when I got a cancellation on my order. I later found out it was because of a factory flaw in the sandy bridge production line.
They say its a wrong voltage that will over time cause damage. I have never seen a recall this big or this public before.
I wonder if this is really the right reason?
I wonder if this 1 million dollar recall will be the end of Intel?
I wonder how many resellers will roll over because of shipping costs and other cost they are stuck with?
Will this recall turn the tables in favor of AMD?
    What do you think?
