Sony STR DH820
Evening all,
just bought this receiver and cannot figure out how to get it to upscale video to 1080p.This is mentioned elsewhere on the net but I'm looking for the idiot's guide on how to enable this/which interconnects to use.This unit has 4 into 1 HDMI and has the processing chip to upscale but the manual is completely useless.I have connected my Sony Blu ray player,PS3 and VM Tivo with compliant HDMI cables.This in theory should be upscaled but clearly is not.I hope someone can help,pulling me 'air out at the mo!
