Turn off the power to the modem & router for a minimum of 30 seconds, plug it back in.

If it still doesn't work look for a reset button on the router. Doing this will remove all settings like the password.

Still on joy, plug in via a network cable. In your web browser address bar type 192.168.0.1 & press enter. This should take you to the settings menu of the router. If after a little poking around you still can't get the wi-fi to work you might want to check back here with the model number of the router.
