wireless not working was lastnite not now checked all cables on modem and router.ntl my freind was on another site and said a few ppl had this problem.....

Power off pc, router and modem than switch on modem, switch on router and than switch on pc. Try and see if wireles is working .

skulldo sounds like it was a network problem if lots of people were suffering from the same problem. check the vm site to see if any faults are reported.
