Help/2 routers

hi lads,I have 2 routers, 1 router just for surfing other ones setup for PPTP and works fine but what i want to do is join them together and still use my main router at full speed for surfing and my other PPTP router to hide my ass,So what evers plugged in to the PPTP router will be hidden But when i connect them is does work but keeps disconnecting other pcs on my network,I have a iMac/2 iPads/iphone 5/PC,So please help me set this up its been 2 weeks now.

My guess is that DHCP is turned on on both routers....?

it is mate but when i turn one off it won't connect ,one what router should i turn it off and how would i set the ups up,This is how i had them, PPTP router 192.168.1.1 other router 192.168.1.2.

Let the one connected to your modem have DCHP on, then assign a fixed ip to the other router in the same range, or use another range and bridge them.

i have done loads but i'm really lost,can you give an example please,Do them ip look ok what i had in before.
