    vermin 30gig upgrade

    Hi all i've just upgraded from 20gig standard vermin media wifi to a so called super hub 30gig. As upstairs in my house the signal isn't very good & my sons both have Xbox's. Has anyone any experience with these super duper box's or have I dropped a clanger - :-*

      well word on the street is they pish, the wifi is utter pish by what i can gather, but the hub is ok just in modem mode

              Just a quick update. Got a email to say I'd upgraded to a new deal & now paying ?52 instead of ?37 for my package cheeky sods. I've foned up & been told some bull about loyalty scheme so it'll be back down to ?37. Thanks

                  Virgin broadband very expensive, ?50 or ?60 a month when people already strugling to pay ?80 house rent!!

                      ?34 a month basic tv but d/box takes care of that. Phone line which am not bothered about & internet not too bad

                          Hi briangoo i'm on virgin super hub 2 you get to internet access points 2.4gh and 5.ghz I pay ?33 a month for 120 meg top package broadband only they tell you you have to have phone line you don't!!!! I don't have a 12 month contract with them in a rolling monthly contract much better ehh!!! they need to get sales my mate works there . I was paying for a phone line I never used all got mobiles and back to the kids Xboxes get your self some network adapters 1gb one s on ebay about ?50 they work through your 240 mains just plug one in at the nearest socket to ya modem and then plug a Ethernet into modem and one into adapter then plug 2nd and 3rd one into each bedroom bobs ya uncle wired internet for pc tv box xbox etc Belkin Play Powerline HD 1Gbit network f5d4078uk Brand NEW sealed 2 x Adapter | eBay you can buy in threes or just add one when ready follow instruction from box happy networking

                              What I got was a 300mbps Wi-Fi mirror adaptor thingy. The vm super hub is downstairs the mirror was ?17 off eBay that's upstairs which sends out a good strong signal for Xbox's around 80% But the vm signal without it is around only 20% upstairs
