i have tried using a splitter for two pcs which did not work, you would be better with an ethernet hub.
    something similar to these......https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb...=2H20IEQI022JH

Estoy en una situación similar, me valdría esta solución: https://www.cablematic.es/ref/RC21?g...iABEgKH8fD_BwE

Never use a splitter. Just get yourself a unmanaged switch. Doesn’t need to be anything special for what your needing it to do.

A switch will cost just 20€

you can also opt for an acces point with ethernet ports embedded.
So the main wire that is now attached to your pc runs to the Acces point. from the acces point it goes to your pc.

I would always reccomend using an Acces point over a 'wifi repeater'.

They can work over poe even where you don't have 230v running.
