My battery (thinkpad T61p) was dead (maybe 1 minute of working without AC Charger plugged in)...And i decided to follow "battery cells replacement tutorials" - there are lot of them...
So i have bought 6 18650 cells (2500mAh), disassembled the battery, and replaced the cells...The problem is my "new" battery lasts only for 15 minutes....And in Thinkpad power management stays "you are using only 11% of original capacity...bla bla"...about 6.6Ah...and original capacity is about 60Ah.
I have tried Thinkpads battery reset tool, charging / discharging it few times, plug the battery out while charging then again plug it into the laptop but nothing helped...
But what is interesting - in thinpad's power management says that "remainig time to fully charge" is 2 hours 20 mins...but after 15-20minutes it stops charging it - current drops to zero....
Anyone knows how to solve it?
