Well, it happened to me, I inserted my usb drive to a very infected pc or maybe the antivirus installed did the damaged...not sure, but my USB drive now shows only shorcuts to hidden folders inside the same USB drive, that can not be changed back because the hidden attributes are greyed out and cannot be modifed by any means..not even the command promt ( cmd).
I tried several ways to do it..even my norton premier account could not do a thing..
I know that might be a lot of good pc software techs experts here that would fix it in a zap, but for us simple mortals or newbies this is a great task.
I solved by installing a very good aplication, and best of all its free.
