lan splitter

hi just need advice on lan splitter ....3port lanplitter .......got wireless router connected to old ntl broadband router with one lan port ....if i put on a lan splitter to run me dreambox separate instead of going through the wirewless router.......ie on to old single lan ntl broadband lan port put the 3 port lan splitter then connect dreambox to one port then the router to the other would that work ok ....thanks i dint want to go un buy one if it wont work .....

You just need a unmanaged network switch Aria do a tplink one cheap

or try ebay
