Com port arrear help please

I have installed software when I try to run the programme I get the massage (Run-time error 8002)

Then I get this massage (Invalid port number)

I have changed the port number, I have reinstalled the drivers, but no joy, its doing my head, any 1 ever sorted this problem please can you help me.
