wireless connection issue help required*******

hi i am trying to connect a hp laptop to router via wireless it detects but does not connect i have checked caps lock and is currently connected to other devices ie phones laptops and box,
also ethernet connection does not work, all devices are up to date and have no missing drivers
your help is much appreciated
