Accidentally deleted recovery files

    Accidentally deleted recovery files

    Hello peeps could someone help me with the following problem please.

    1. I somehow deleted the recovery file.
    2. Loaded another from internet and restored laptop
    3. now the laptop runs really really slow.

    Laptop is a HP 530 with vista home basic.
    A restore cd did not come with this laptop from new.

    Mate Vista is crap anyway.. Use a copy of Win 7.

    When you choose the install option "Custom" then select drive option. Then delete all drives and partitions. Once this is done. Click on new and it will ask you to determine the size, simply press ok and the system will then prompt you to setup a system recovery, click yes which will automatically make one..

    after this, choose the Partition 0 and install windows on it..
