    DVD-R Media Problems

Hello guys ! just wondering if anyone knows what the ~~~~ is going wrong with my movies that i have been burning to disc recently.

I bought Verbatim MCC 03RG20 discs (which i hear are good) yet when i burn movies at 2.4x-3x speed and play them in any of my dvd players they start , stopping - stuttering and jumping all over the place.

When i check and play the video_ts folder on pc everything runs smooth.

Could CPU mess up discs while burning? i know this laptop hasnt got the fastest cpu in the world.

    Any replys grateful. thanks!

I have that on laptop already but never used it.

there is no option to burn video_ts folder , only .iso images

well it can burn video_ts but it says data disc.

that will still work in dvd players?

yes use the data disc option then click file and use video dvd layout then search for your video ts file.

This problem is often caused by the player not the disk or data, cheaper players often become fussy with home burnt discs as opposed to factory pressed disks.

If it's an option I reccomend an xvid player with USB interface, play all your movies off an external hdd seamlessly and save money on discs
