    win7 and software raid 0 help pls

    hi guys

    what happened was my motherboard blew up
    i had 2 x 1tb drives on there as storage raid 0 striped.

    now i had to buy a new motherboard.
    and this one dont have hardware raid built in i dont think.

    so what im after doing is trying to get windows 7 to look at the 2 drives so i can access my data,

    is this possible and if so could some1 help me out.

    A Raid 0 as you know is stripped, So basically data is shared between the drives. As far as i know, it is not possible to recover the data shared, i could be wrong.

    When setting up a raid, it is advised that you store all data that is not replacable on another hdd/dvd

        I guess you could ask a friend that has a motherboard with RAID, and configure your 2 HDD as a single drive in SLAVE.

          That's the only way, but the motherboard should have the same chipset, as your old motherboard.
