I have a problem with my pb laptop battery. I have the laptop since 2007 so the battery was quite dead, it was holding current only 5 min without the plug and I decided to replace the Li-on cells inside the battery pack. I ve opened the battery pack and replaced the cells with new ones but now the battery wont charge anymore and if I unplug the power cable it shuts down.
I understood that the battery has a power management system controlled by a eeprom with in my case has locked itself and doesn't let the cells charge or discharge.
So I need a software that will reset my battery eeprom. Can anybody help me?
