Hi,
Today, distracted and in a hurry, I did something completely stupid – I wanted to reinstall the system on my Lenovo ThinkPad X270 laptop and set a password for the hard drive and the supervisor. I was sure I had set the same password in both fields, but something went wrong.
Currently, when I turn on the computer, it first asks for the supervisor password. I enter it, it accepts it, and then asks for the hard drive password. I enter the password and get an x, and then the computer shuts down three times.
I can't get into the BIOS, I can't do anything. After removing the hard drive, everything works normally. I can enter the BIOS, boot from a flash drive, insert another hard drive, and disable the supervisor password.
Unfortunately, after inserting the hard drive I've password-protected, I can't do anything.
Is there any way to save the SSD?
Laptop: ThinkPad X270
Drive: P/N: MZVLW256HEHP-000L7
Lenovo P/N: SSS0L25044
Model: MZ-VLW2560
Thanks in advance for your help
