Virgin mobile contract

Does anyone know if the new virgin mobile tarrifs are useable through a iphone 4 or a iphone 4s?
I spoke with virgin mobile and they said that because they dont sell the iphone there might be a problem with putting a virgin contract sim into a iphone and getting the services from virgin e.g the data plan and calls and txs etc.
I just wanted to know if anyone has a simonly contract or just a normaly paymonthly contract and has used it in a iphone. There deals are decent - 2500 anytime any network mins, unlim txs and data, unlimited landline calls and free mobile phone insurance and a choice between a nokia ilumia 610 and a galaxy s advanced for ?23 a month for existing virgin customers. I would have sold the nokia ilumia 610 for whatever price and just kept the contract for 24 months.

hi skyla .. my brother in law uses his vm contract sim in an iphone ... he had to get it cut down to fit ...but apart from that, shouldn't be a problem

Just got what i thought is a decent deal on a phone.
Samsung Galaxy Ace Free with 250 mins unlimited texts 500mb data for ?7.50 a month but with cash redemption on 12 months making it ?3.75month.
Not sure how good that phone is but looks ok in my book.

Given that all the Ishites run on the same software. If the 4/4s does need the update for the data services, you should be able to get them sent as if it was a 3GS. I think Virmin did support the 3GS.

It's a good mid range work horse. Nothing to be ashammed of, but not one of the all singing all dancing phones.

If there's anyone out there on Orange & looking to upgrade to a mid range phone, the San Diego is well worth a look.
