help please LG Arena

Hi,
this might sound a bit stupid ,just got the new LG Arena
KM900 been through everything found the phone ok but cannot for the life of me forward any text messages ie jokes etc can anybody push me in the right direction please.I had no problem doing it with the LG Viewity.
