very simple mate,just done my own in around 10 minutes.
first off download a file called universal androot off google and put this on the phones sd card. next download file manager and titanium backup from the android marketplace.
when these are downloaded open the file manager app and install universal androot,then run it.after this open the titanium backup app(it probably wont work at first but dont worry just press the problem button and busybox will download and it will work super-duper).and there you have a fully rooted x10 mini.Comment

Rooting is not unlocking.
As Jim said, buy the unlock code...it is the easiest way.Canker
