Step 2: Download & Install Blackberry Drivers or desktop manager Blackberry Drivers https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/browseSoftware.do

Step 3: Start Blackberry Mep Reader and Click Read Phone.

Step 4: Connect your Blackberry to the computer using original USB cable.

Step 5: You will see your IMEI and MEP Data displayed.

Step 6: Post imei and mep here.

these 3rd party boxes do not support all mep's (2011 meps)

you can use simcards from other networks i.e. if it was locked to vodafone then after unlocking you could use an orange simcard

just keep getting error reconnect phone and link to desktop manager doesn't work. Any other options. Thanks. Ok I've downloaded desktop manager but the emei and mep are not coming up. Does it have to be the original blackberry usb lead because I couldn't tell you where mines is it's been that long since I used it. how long should it take for the two numbers to come up

run the mep reader software, click read phone then connect it to the cable.
make sure the phone is powered on before you connect it to the cable.
