hi new to all this
i was thinking og getting one of these box s and to plug it in to my sky dish(its a small oval one) does any one know if i will be able to pick up extra channels apart from the uk ones.
if not is it easy to do.

if the dish is pointing to 28.2East you will not be able to recieve any foreign channels only the ones intended for the uk.I"d have a read up in the general satellite section to give you some idea of whats needed.I dont know the box you are refering to but others will,also consider a fta technomate box as a good beginners stb but unless you either point a bigger dish at another sat you will still only get uk channels.But try and get more understanding of whats involved before spending any money.
