No Channel 4HD on Humax Foxsat ??????

Im new to Sat TV and have just set up a new Humax Fox Sat box.
Easy enough but have not got Cannel 4 HD. Am I being dim ? I thought it should be there.

CH4 HD not on freesat yet although its supposed to be coming.

The only HD channels on Freesat are:-
BBC HD
ITV HD

Freesat is owned jointly by the BBC & ITV
C4 are an independent broadcaster and have no business interests in Freesat

You can also get LUX HD by going into the setup menu (Although there is nothing worth watching)

4HD is only available on sky & Virgin at the moment
There is a rumour that it ill be available on Freeview HD early next year.
Sky have paid C4 a lot of money to have broadcast rights for 4HD to encourage more people to subscribe to Sky. and will not allow C4 to broadcast 4HD on any FTA platform for the time being.

I cant really see there being many FTA HD channel available soon as i isnt economically viable .

I should have done a bit more rsearch before jumping in and getting a satellite box.

I wouldn't be too bothered about not being able to get 4HD
For the next 3 months it will only be Big Brother so you wont be missing a thing LOL
