std universal quad output lnb will be fine for up to 4 boxes(or 2 twin tuner ones) but its the dish size that is going to matter in spain.
if you go to www.costablancasatellite.com/astra-satellite-footprint-map-spain it will give you an idea of whats needed.

as dick b says ,it depends on whereabouts you?re going.
I live in the north (spain) and with a 110cms dish, motor and lnb 0.2 have 95% strength and 95% quality reception for 28?e....
      caz woz here..
just editing this just to let you know that down south a 190+ dish is needed and you more than likely have to get a "permit" from the local town hall (the local competition will make sure the authorities know about your dish) even though it?ll be on your own property..

It's a bit more complicated than using a standard quad LNB. If you live in an area where you need a big dish (1.8m to 2.4m) then you will also need a specialist high quality LNB costing a great deal more than the standard one's. If you are having a big dish installed then the installer will know all about this and provide you with the type you need. Along with a large dish go an awful lot of other problems to stop some transponders fading at certain times of the day/night.

However if you are in the Northern area (ie Catalunia) then you can use a small dish (ie 1.0m) and a standard LNB will be OK.

Reception across Spain is patchy with some areas around Alicante receiving very poor signal and needing 2.4m size dishes for BBC/ITV.
