Sky Plus Box

Hi,i have a sky plus box but no viewing card,can anyone tell me if i can change it or do anything with it so i can get the freeview channels on?

You can still receive the freesat channels on the sky+ box but if you purchase a freesat card, ?20 at last count, you will get all that sky offer. Sky were doing a package which cost around ?160 which included a card, rcvr, dish etc but since you have the setup all you need is a card. Some channels do work without a card but with a card you will get more? Remember the recording facility of the sky+ box won't return until you at least take out a minimum package but if you're only interested in watching and not recording then that won't matter?

yep I agree and have done so ring sky and ask for one off purchase free view card.
