freesat advise pls!!!

I'm setting up free-tv in a den and messing around with freesat, at the moment just using a sly mini dish and dreambox 800s,
did a scan and "pulled in 500 odd channels", vast majority of them encrypted as expected, bbc, sky news and a few more are not encrypted..
thing is.. the itv channels, channel 4, more tv etc are encoded with videogaurd... i know they are suppose to be free so where am i going wrong??

help appreciated..

they should be clear on astra,maybe check what frequency it is on as you may have 7 or 8 itvs and only 1 work
