Can anybody help with the satellite setup?
Set to Astra 2B but when scanning it does not detect/find all channels.
Various channels missing such as Setanta, Nat geo, some kids channels etc
It does detect all sky sports though

Try a blind scan & you might have more joy.

Select 28.2 deg.
then select blind scan. I just did same few hours ago and i got all the channels. Goodluck

Friends I have searched for where I put this problem I have with Eaglebox 800,I myself am using a spiderbox 9000 great value box and I helped my friend get into our hobby be getting him an Eagle box and all seemed to be well until the last week,he asked me to help as the box was not unlocking channels,I checked and sure enough all F TA were open but subscription channels were not so eventually I took the Eagle to my house to check if it would work and it did so I brought it back to him with the good news,he set it up and no joy just F T A only after a time I took my spiderbox to his home and it worked perfectly and I took the Eaglebox to my home as it worked and rather than get a new Stb I would check on this forum to see if anyone can help so there it is,thanks for taking the time to read regards McG

check for a ip clash on the network and re-boot router/modem and the switch dchp off/on and re-boot the box,regards mdt

Many thanks for the replies Sam and mdt,I checked all the numero uno suspects and culprits the line is an Nline and I have checked mdt's suggestiond but to no avail my Spider box works perfect in his setup and his Eaglebox works perfect on my setup I should add he is using a sly dish and I use a 1.2 meter motorised setup,I did notice a low signal and low audio on the H D channels at my friends home and at my home where I have the Eaglebox at the minute while the non H D channels the signal is very good,regards McG

sounds more like a reception issue or a tuner problem on the eaglebox
if you are both in the uk either dish should be fine and both receivers should work at either house with no problems
check the tuner is set to universal and 9750/10600 for the high and low frequencies

perhaps the eaglebox is faulty ?
