    EROR1 : NO CA FOUND how to fix dreambox

    EROR1 : NO CA FOUND how to fix the problem

    this is how to fix your error no ca found problem,this has been tried and tested and works everytime 100%
    this has happend beacause you didnt load a bootloader to start with.
    1st load up dreamup (the lasted version) then in the programe you will find extras,click on that it should say recover bad sectors,connect your dreambox up and press connect on dreamup,unplug your dreambox when dreamup is ready then plug back in your dreambox,now this is the important part....when the line on dreamup is about 25% unplug your dreambox...disconnect from dreamup and then plug back in your dreambox and hey it will then give you your dreambox isp on the dreambox display..now connect your lan cable in..then on your browser on your p.c..type in what the dreambox has told you (the dreambox isp) then on the bottom of the the page when it has connected you should have somthing like flash update..click on that..select nabliosat black hole (pached) it should load to your dreambox in about 5 or so mins,then once 100% unplug your dreambox and then plug it back in..and then every tim you swich of your dreambox or unplug it back in..you will have no more troubles.
    i hope this has helped
    best regards

    Hi, thanks for the tip

    I do have NO CA Found error. Can't get resolved because DreaUp never detects that DM800 is connected through serial.

    * Started DreamUP
    * Selected Extras-> Recover bad sector
    * Connected the serial cable
    * Pressed Connect
    * Switched On DM800.....never happens!!!

    Any help would be appreciated

        connect dm800
        connect ethernet to router,cable if direct to pc must be crossover cable,

        load dreamup
        click connect
        when dream up says power up box power it on
        it will say DM800 found
        wait for it to intalise it will then give you dhcp address,
        tap that in your web broser and flash as normal
        all done..!!

          I guess the best way is pick an image that has the right bootloader embedded. My mistake was flashing Gemini 4.7 "naked". That's a no no. Well, I learned my lesson the hardway
