i bought a sky box off ebay the flow design ones because my last one packed up.
i am not a sky subscriber well im staying with my dad and he not had sky for over 5 years sky sports etc.
Anyways when i plug in the box all the Free chaneel worked but i notice when i was flickering through the channel non subscription channels i got message saying wrong sky card for box ring this number so i thought i might as well but the woman on the other side goes its no longer in use. 08700 50 50 45
Im not really bothered but i was thinking sum times Asian TV Channels give like a freeview like (i think) Geo News give 15min freeview period at 9pm will i be able to see this i know i got the message when i went to check Geo TV so i just wanted to know if it is effected by this.
p.s This is a standard Sky Box not sky + etc.
ps i have old thompson box what can i do with it
