Hi 2 days ago all of a sudden all of my channels became scrambled, then a day later some where scrambled and some said "no signal" so I updated the channel list successfully today but still no joy, any ideas people?
if your getting fta, but no encrypted channels then it's your 'gift' that is the problem.
If you bought it with a 'gift' subscription you need to contact them.
If you are getting no channels, then it's your receiver or lnb.Try your reciever at a friends house to see if it works there.
Lastly just double check none of the cables have come loose.
I'm assuming that your internet connection is ok, as you have asked a question on here.
Thx for the reply, I took the homeplugs out and left them out for 5 mins then put back in (although tried this yesterday too) and turned it back on and all of a sudden it seems to be working again, not sure what was wrong? any ideas?
Usually it's because they have unpaired (if you don't have to setup with passwords)
Do they have little reset buttons on them to re-pair?
Make sure you have them plugged directly into the wall and not in an extension socket.
Extensions are very bad for homeplugs.
It also depends on your wiring? Old house=old wires.
And keep them as short a length as possible.
It can be (if you have neighbours) that there homeplugs are bleeding onto your ring main.
Also it could just be one of them is failing. My brothers lasted 6 months and then had an intermiitent fault where they would just unpair when they felt like it.
If you can cat5e from your router, then it's much better.
If you can't always test the plugs with something else that uses the internet eg a laptop.

Yeah I think you may be right that the homeplugs aren't the greatest.
Have all the channels working but went to watch wrestling on box office lastnight and it worked for the first 10mins then got scrambled and was unable to watch it anymore, the rest of the pay channels where working, any clue whats wrong with box office?

Box office give a ten min taster , then it needs paying for to continue watching, the guy at the other end hasn't subbed to it hence it not working after ten min

Really? I have had the 12 month sub for 4 months now I think and have previously watched 3 wrestling ppv's on box office so not sure why it isn't working now?
If only members would go to a little more expense and source themselves a decent receiver and a Moderate sized motorised dish then the Box office event could have been obtained for free : http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...le-ppv-339654/
