    will low memory cause crash?

    Could lack of memory be the reason my dm 7025 crashes so easily. In the nab bh menu RAM (root?) is 96% so I guess when I try to add anything else the cup overspills? I know the image should be on the cf card but could never get it save there. Here is some info from DCC,

    OpenDreambox 1.5.0 dm7025
    dm7025 login:
    root

    root@dm7025:~#
    clear

    [H[Jroot@dm7025:~#
    -------------------- < Script > ----------------------------
    df -m; echo ">>> DONE <<<";

    Filesystem 1M-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
    /dev/root 4 3 1 69% /boot
    /dev/mtdblock/3 28 27 1 98% /boot/mnt/flash
    /dev/loop/0 17 17 0 100% /boot/mnt/squashfs
    none 45 45 1 99% /
    tmpfs 36 2 33 6% /var
    tmpfs 36 0 36 0% /tmp
    /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 152597 19919 132678 13% /media/hdd
    /dev/ide/host1/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 962 27 886 3% /media/cf
    >>> DONE <<<
    root@dm7025:~#
    -------------------- < Script > ----------------------------
    ipkg-cl list > /tmp/ipkg-list.tmp; echo ">>> DONE <<<";

    >>> DONE <<<

    -------------------- < Script > ----------------------------
    root@dm7025:~#
    ipkg-cl list_installed > /tmp/ipkg-installed.tmp; echo ">>> DONE <<<";

    >>> DONE <<<

    Could someone more knowledgeable confirm this is indeed the problem. If so I will try to install the image with a command line as DBE always sticks it in the root, also should I update the os from 1.5, if there is one?
