I have the above box that has worked for about two years.
I recently flashed a new image on to it, and very soon afterthe black screen appeared.On some occasions,this can be triggered by the remote or just fails without any intervention fromme, and produces a black screen.Theonly way to recover the box is the switch on an off.After which it may run Ok, or fail again whenit feels like it.
When it chooses to fail there is an audible click, (perhapsa relay switching).
I have opened the box and checked all the connections, whichlook ok, the fan appears to be functioning OK.
On some occasions the HDD may not be mounted, this may be ana image specific, as it works ok with some, but others needs to be re-initialised(wiped) and remounted.
The HDD is checked by various images without any apparent faultsshowing.
Today I am Dream-Elite-4.0-dm800se-ramiMAHER-2 image, it’sstill playing up.I only to use images provided by ramiMAHER.
Can anyone offer any help and suggestions and recommend a Sim2image(s) that maybe trouble free, to play with, so I can check theproblem(s)are not caused by the lasted versions that are released.Had perhaps verify that my hardware is not atfault.
