Ok what i was trying to do was record the whole stream to file. I only want to record a couple of mins, so that should fit into the tmp folder.

i've tried a few card0/??? combs but all i get is a empty .ts file

But i think there must also be a line before mine???

the title should read: cat /dev/dvb/card0/?? > /tmp/file.ts
