I have put a new image on my dreambox 500s and it is working well apart from the remote control. The hardware remote control only works for about the first 30 mintues that the 500s is switched on for and then gives up.
If I try and control the system through the web interface the picture of the remote control is missing. I have tracked this down to the files rc_big.jpg and rc_small.jpg being missing from the share/tuxbox/enigma/htdocs folder. I have the 2 jpg images in a folder on my computer but I can't FTP them to the dreambox using the dreambox control centre. I think it must be security privileges. I am logged in using the default root/dreambox account.
Has anyone any idea why the hardware remote packs up (yes I have changed the batteries) or how I can FTP the jpg files to the 500s so I can use the software remote.
