help needed

i have a db5oos which is a used one, the old remote died and i bought a new one ;
but the problem is that once a hour the box stops recieving command from this new remote for about 15minutes and during that i can't do any thing with remote ,
i want 2 know how can i solve this issue.
every expert who reads this thread please help me!
