Software you will need :
1/ VLC Media Player
2/ Windows Media Player
On you routers set up page, select port forwarding and forward ports 8080 ) through to the PC
VLC Media Player Set Up
1. Media > Streaming (Shortcut Key Ctrl+S)
2. Select Network Tab
Connection
3.Enter your DB local IP address, Menu.. > Set Up > Expert Set Up > Commumication Set up.. You will now see the IP of your dreambox displayed on screen..
4. Stream> Options > Generated stream output string (important bit, copy & paste the code below):

5. Finish by selecting Stream and you should be looking at the following screen
Windows Media Player Set Up
File> Open URL...
Enter your PC local IP address, Use port 8080.
You can tinker with settings to improve the quality of the picture, but I would recommend my settings, no freeze / buffering
