Dreambox not holding i.p. settings?

Hi I got a clone 500s which works ok butI setup the network side of it and can access it with DCC. The problem starts if I switch off the receiver the box is not seen on the network. I go back into the network settings and they appear to be the same as when it was working but the only way I can get it seen on the network again is to enable DHCP and save and then immediately go and change it back to its original settings and save again and reboot the box. Then it works fine. Any ideas? faulty box?

I would reflash the image and see if that helps.

OK will give that a go. I have since powered it off and it has held its settings it just happened to me twice. Will monitor and see how it goes and do a reflash if it happens again.

You shouldnt really be turning the box on/off.. just leave it in standby, its designed for that

Bedtime routine go around and turn off all sockets. Anyway it happened to me again so I reflashed the box again with a different image and all seems to be working fine now.
