2 Quick questions about the DM500s clone:
Optical Out - Is there a blatently obvious reason why my hi-fi with optical in will not recognize the optical out from the Dreambox. Red optical light is showing, I have replaced the cables twice, hi-fi optical in works with every other device (minidisk player, dvd player etc)
Infrared remote control - Is this IR or IRDA. Looking at getting a wireless video sender and need to know the infrared type as to which sender to aim to get.
