Using USB Wireless pen

Im trying to get my db800hd connected to the net using a usb wireless pen but its not having it all i get is dreambox has no ip address in the protocol (im using dcc v295). I dont know if im doing sometime wrong or the box itself wont work with a wireless pen.
Any thoughts/ideas?
